Epcot Orlando Fireworks Schedule
Orlando's Walt Disney World has four theme parks and two water parks, plus hotels, campground and other attractions and amenities. Plan your visit for the pace you want to go. It is easy to get drawn into a hectic schedule, so consider the amount of time and energy you have when planning your itinerary. Remember to include meals and transportation between attractions into your timetable.
Disney's Four Theme Parks
Magic Kingdom and Epcot are the original Florida parks. Magic Kingdom mirrors California's Disneyland in rides, shows and attractions. Epcot began as an educational theme park, a place to go for fun and to learn at the same time. Magic Kingdom's theme is the world of make believe, while Epcot showcases the real world in entertaining presentations. Hollywood Studios brings movie themes to rides, shows and activities. Draw your own cartoons at Magic of Disney Animation and experience a simulated Star Wars adventure at Star Tours. Be sure to attend the thrilling stunt show. Animal Kingdom hosts 1, 700 animals representing 250 species in natural settings. Explore this 500 acre daytime park for a peaceful contrast to the business of the other parks.
Disney's Two Water Parks
Visit a water park for the perfect antidote to hot summer weather. Choose between Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard Beach is based on a freak snow storm hitting Florida. The attractions and activities tie into to the snow theme with a chair lift, toboggan race, downhill double dipper water slide and more. Typhoon Lagoon has a tropical setting, featuring nine water slides, a play area for young children and a wave pool with six foot waves. Snorkel in safety with real sharks and tropical fish at the Shark Reef. Rent a locker to stow your personal items. Purchase a single day ticket or add the water park option to the theme park pass.
Visit a small city dedicated totally to all things related to Disney. Wander the streets lined with gardens and decorative plantings. Dine in a restaurant or grab a bite to eat while strolling around. Marvel at the life-sized Lego sculptures or listen to the wandering musicians. Shop in the world's largest Disney store, watch a movie or pose with a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Downtown Disney is free and open to the public.
Staying Overnight at Disney World
Stay at one of the resort hotels for additional benefits, such as free transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport. You get complimentary transportation to the various parks using the Disney bus, boat and monorail system as well as extended hours at the parks. You can purchase an optional dining plan, which allows you to eat at any of the 100 restaurants. Breakfast with a Disney character, a favorite event for everyone, is included in this package. Some off-site hotels offer free rides to the parks.
Park Hopper Option
Add this option to your ticket if you plan to visit more than one park per day. For instance, you may want to spend the morning at Magic Kingdom, the afternoon at Hollywood Studios and then return to Magic Kingdom for the nighttime parade and fireworks, which is achievable with a park hopper ticket.
