Orlando DiningOrlando, Florida is known as one of the theme park capitals of the world. Disney World and its many branches, including Epcot and Animal Kingdom, are certainly very popular Orlando attractions. SeaWorld, Discover Cove, and Aquatica, SeaWorld's Waterpark, are also very popular. Or, you can hop over to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. For all the excitement without the theme park lines, check out iFly, Orlando's own indoor skydiving wind tunnel. Ripley's Believe it or Not features 16 galleries that pay tribute to all things odd, bizarre, and unbelievable. Or play a little mini golf at Hawaiin Rumble Adventure Golf, Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, or the Putting Edge Fun Center, which even features the Ultimate Indoor Glow-in-the-Dark Mini Golf Experience!
For other daytime adventures, try out Vans Skate Park, or one of the many golf clubs, including Marriott's Grande Pines and Shingle Creek. If shopping is more your speed, there are two Orlando Premium Outlet locations to satisfy your desires, with shops ranging from Forever 21, to Converse, to Northface, as well as higher end brands such as Tory Burch and the only UGG Australia outlet in Florida.
After you spend the day either shopping, seeing the sites, or riding roller coasters, you will have worked up an appetite. There are dozens of restaurants on International Drive alone, including classics like Olive Garden and Bahama Breeze, to themed restaurants like B.B. King's or Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.'s Restaurant and Market. International Drive even features a McDonald's with the world's largest PlayPlace!
If you want entertainment as you eat, Orlando can offer that as well. Sleuth's Mystery Dinner show offers you not only a delicious dinner but also to play detective. Pirate's Dinner Adventure features a Broadway-styled musical comedy, and Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show includes everything from high-energy comedy improvisation to magic tricks.
Finally, after the kids have gone to bed, head over to one of the dozens of night life spots located in and around International Drive. There are many popular favorites among not only the tourists but also the locals. Check out ICEBAR Orlando, one of only two icebars in America, where 50 tons of ice have been crafted into a bar where you can enjoy ice cold drinks year round (great in the Florida heat!). Howl at the Moon features a world famous rock n' roll dueling piano show as well as fishbowl sized drinks. At Taverna Opa, dance on tables and enjoy watching belly dancers while trying everything from seafood to steaks to stuffed peppers. Or, head over to CityWalk by Universal, which features Fat Tuesday's Frozen Drinks and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.
This is just a small sampling of the Orlando attractions available for your enjoyment. So do your research and you could have an unforgettable trip to this action packed city!
